I feel elated to express my views about Guru Nanak Dev University College, Jalandhar. In the year 2014, when the University prepared self-study report to be submitted to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore for re-accreditation of the University, I was the Convener of the Committee and we assessed all the constituted colleges/university colleges. It was my observation that the Guru Nanak Dev University College, Jalandhar had been the best college at that time. In this short-span of time, the University College has scaled new heights in academics, sports and other activities. It has now established itself as a landmark in providing quality education which is affordable to the students.

This college is known for providing excellent educational opportunities to the needy students. The college is fully conscious of their needs and committed to provide a revitalising environment in the campus which throbs with diverse activities in academics, co-curricular, sports etc. The inspirational support and guidance of the faculty ensures overall development of the young minds.

The college is fortunate to have dynamic faculty under the leadership of the principal of the college who has brought revolutions to upraise the academic and research standards to the highest peaks in the educational scenario. Thus, the college has become the first choice of the students of the region.

I congratulate the College for its genuine efforts for the multifaceted development of the institution and the role it has played in shaping the future of its students.
